Who is Alpha For?

Alpha is for anyone who's curious about the big questions of life. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. What Happens at Alpha?

When you attend Alpha each week online, you'll be greeted by our host team and the others joining in. We start each week by creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone - sometimes with a game, a story, or something fun to do. Each week has 1 or 2 videos that we'll watch to spark conversation to explore the deeper issues of life and faith.

Welcome

All classes are conducted online through Zoom, so you can attend from anywhere on any device. Each class begins with a relaxed time of introductions designed to help everyone feel comfortable, welcomed, and ready to join the conversation.

Watch

Each Alpha session features a short, documentary-style video that explores some of life’s biggest questions. These videos are designed to spark honest conversation about faith, life, meaning, and the basics of Christianity.

Discuss

After the video, everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts in a small group conversation. There is no pressure to have the right answer. Alpha is a safe place to ask questions, listen to others, and explore faith at your own pace.

To make the online experience feel more personal, we provide Alpha Kits for participants. These kits are designed to help you engage with each session and feel connected to the group, even when you are joining from home.

Alpha is completely free and there is no pressure to do or join anything. When you register to attend, one of our leaders will reach out to you to confirm your information and answer any questions you might have before we mail your Alpha kit. We hope to see you at Alpha!

Have you ever been at a crossroads in your life?
