Part 3 | Let it Shine!
Matthew 5:14-16 | November 1, 2026

God brings us together with a shared mission: to shine His light in our dark world.
1. We have been transformed by His Light so we can reflect the Light.
Matthew 5:14 - You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
John 8:12a - "I AM the light of the world…"
A. The light of Christ didn’t just improve us; it transformed us.
2. We have been entrusted with His Light so others can experience the Light.
Matthew 5:15 - Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
A.We are meant to enjoy the light of Christ, but also to share it.
3. We Have Been Empowered by the Light So We Can Point Others to the Light.
Matthew 5:16 - "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
John 8:12b…"Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
A.Let the Light Shine Through Your Words and Good Works.
What brings us together is a Mutual Love for Jesus, His Word, and His Mission.
